DIVAS - Women's Professional Development Group

Local professionals are encouraged to attend the March DIVAS meeting.

Wayne Dipper of KPM Technology, LLC will present "Cyber Security, Phishing, and Ransomware – What to Know and How to Protect Yourself and Your Organization."

DIVAS will meet at 8 a.m., March 25, at Expresso Co. No. 825, Buffalo.

The community is always welcome to attend DIVAS meetings. This month, the information is vital for all Dallas County residents. Wayne Dipper is Managing Partner and C.O.O. of KPM Technology.  He was born and raised in Republic and graduated from MSU with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and minors in mathematics and physics.  He graduated from Webster University with an MBA. While at MSU, Dipper worked as a software developer and network administrator at Heatway, a locally owned radiant-floor-heating company.  

Wayne was the IT Director when he left Heatway to join KPM Technology in 2001. He handles operations, business development, and planning for KPM Technology.  Dipper is a certified Microsoft and Security expert with over 30 years of experience in the field. He was selected for SBJ 40 Under 40 and SBJ Trusted Advisor, and was a member of Class 23 Leadership Springfield.

What is DIVAS?

DIVAS is a Women's Professional Development Group with a focus on Helping Women Help Women through mentorships, encouraging and learning from one another.

Supportive - Women providing encouragement or emotional help to others.

A relaxed group geared toward women in business: guest speakers, round table discussions, networking, and relationship building.

DIVAS also believes in giving back to the community by helping through a Giving Circle. Grants are given through the Community Foundation of the Ozarks from the DIVAS Giving Circle. Giving Circle Pledges are welcome but never required.
