Civic Social: Meet the Candidates Open House

Last Updated 6/22/2026

The Buffalo Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the upcoming Civic Social: Meet the Candidates Open House, a community‑centered event designed to give residents the opportunity to speak directly with individuals running for public office. The event will be held as a come‑and‑go open house, offering a relaxed environment for meaningful, one‑on‑one conversations.

Unlike traditional candidate forums, this event will feature no moderator, no speeches, and no formal Q&A session. Each candidate will host their own table or station, allowing attendees to visit at their own pace, ask questions important to them, and learn more about each candidate’s priorities in an informal setting.

This format encourages genuine and respectful dialogue between candidates and citizens.

Event Highlights

· Come‑and‑go format

· Individual candidate tables for direct conversation

· No speeches, no timed remarks, no public Q&A

· Open, welcoming environment for all community members

The Civic Social aims to strengthen civic engagement by making candidates more accessible and helping residents feel informed and connected ahead of the upcoming election. Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
